The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate a massive barn fire in Plympton-Wyoming that claimed the lives of thousands of pigs.
The blaze broke out shortly before nine yesterday morning, with a livestock barn completely engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived.
Lambton OPP say a number of agencies were at the scene overnight, including fire departments from Warwick, Plympton-Wyoming, and Brooke-Alvinston, along with the Lambton County EMS.
