There will be a lot of people eating out around Chatham-Kent tonight, all for a good cause.
Tonight marks the annual Pizza for Polio Day in Chatham-Kent, with over half a dozen Chatham pizza places donating a portion of their sales to the cause.
Over the last seven years, the Chatham Rotary club has helped raise $260,000 to help fight polio.
Andy’s Place, Boston Pizza, Konstantinos, Mike’s Place, Original 2 Pizza, Pizza Tonite, Pie-Zano’s, and Steve’ Pizzeria are donating a portion of their proceeds on pizza orders that day (carry out and delivery) to support the cause.
A number of restaurants in Tilbury are also taking part this year, organized by the Rotary Club of Tilbury.
