Local residents should expect some traffic delays in downtown Chatham first thing Thursday morning due to a planned power outage.
Entegrus said a brief outage will impact around 165 customers in the downtown core along with multiple sets of traffic lights in the area.
The outage will take place from 7 a.m. to 7:10 a.m. to allow Entegrus to perform system upgrades.
While the outage should only last a few minutes, everyone is asked to keep safety top of mind. Drivers are reminded to treat intersections as four-way stops when traffic lights are out.
Customers affected by the outage will be notified by telephone through Entegrus’ interactive voice calling system.
