A number of Blenheim residents will be left in the dark for a few hours later this month.
Officials with Entegrus say a planned power outage will be held the morning of Sunday, August 23 between 2 and 6am.
During that time, crews will be repairing electrical equipment damaged during July’s storms and replacing other equipment.
Roughly 1156 customers will be without power for the duration of the planned outage, while another 837 customers will experience a brief interruption of approximately ten minutes, starting at 2am.
Affected customers will be notified directly.
