Plans to build a high-speed rail line connecting most of southern Ontario are moving forward.
At a press conference this morning in London, Premier Kathleen Wynne announced the details of a plan to connect Toronto to Windsor.
Reports say that Phase 1 is to connect Toronto to London by 2025 – once installed, the trip between the two cities is expected to be just over an hour.
A stop in Chatham is planned for the high-speed rail as well.
