The Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation is gearing up for one of its major fundraisers.
The third annual Hike for Hospice is coming up on May 5th, and executive director Jodi Maroney says this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever.
“In addition to the regular hike, we’ve added a five kilometre fun run as well a a corporate challenge,” Maroney says. “We wanted to make it accessible to everyone and give the opportunity to businesses and local runners.”

Last year’s event brought in more than $60,000 to support the operational needs of the end-of-life care facility that aren’t covered by government funding.
