There were thousands on hand for the parade Tuesday morning and the official opening ceremony that featured politicians from all levels of government.
Even premier Doug ford made the trip down from the “bubble” he calls Toronto to tell everyone how much he loves farmers and farming.
He says “all you have to do is drive through Southwestern Ontario and you can see it for yourselves, the farmers, the factory towns, the small business owners, these are the industries, these are the businesses, the farmers, and the workers that put Ontario on the map”.
The 850 acre event is a massive tent city with demonstrations, and large machinery to take a look at up close.
There will be a rodeo, concerts, and plenty to see and do.
They are expecting 80,000 people to visit the grounds before it wraps up on Saturday.
