More than a month after the deer cull in Rondeau Park, Point Pelee has decided to do the same.
Reports say the National Park can only sustain 24-32 deer at a time, but current tallies are over 100, as the white-tailed deer have abundant resources and no natural predators.
The park will reportedly be closed from January 12-26 while park staff and members of the Caldwell First Nation attempt to reduce the population.
