The Citizens Police Academy is back, and they’re looking for Chatham-Kent residents to apply.
The academy is meant to teach the public what the police force goes through on a daily basis.
While it’s not meant to train citizens to be police officers, the program offers classes in Major Crime Investigation, Investigation & Forensics, and Crime Prevention to name a few.
They’re looking for applicants who are 19 years of age or older, and of good moral character. Seniors are also encouraged to attend.
