Two people are facing charges after police responded to a noise complaint in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Park Street residence at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, after receiving a complaint about loud music.
Officers arrived and determined that the music was being played at an unreasonable level and was impacting neighbours. It was also learned that the residents were bound by prior release conditions with a requirement that prohibited them from causing unreasonable noise.
A 63-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, both from Chatham, were arrested and charged with mischief and failing to comply with a recognizance. They were later released with a June court date.
