Frightening customers at a Chatham business has resulted in charges for a local woman.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the Grand Avenue East business shortly before 9 p.m. on Wednesday after a woman caused a disturbance.
Authorities said the woman was reportedly in front of the business screaming, yelling and scaring customers.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested a 30-year-old Chatham-Kent woman, who is now charged with causing a disturbance. She was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a future court date.
