A 61-year-old Wallaceburg man has been arrested on charges of break and enter and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Ronald Jordan was arrested on an outstanding warrant Tuesday. He’ll appear in court Nov. 19.

Police continue to investigate after a single vehicle collision on Riverview Line, between Merlin and Jacob Roads on Tuesday afternoon. A 70-year old woman from Leamington was taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Damage is pegged at 30 thousand dollars.

A 35-year old man from Chatham is in hot water after a fire extinguisher was discharged at a Thames Street apartment last Saturday. CK Police say the suspect was arrested last night and charged with mischief, assault with a weapon and two counts of administering a noxious substance. He was released and will speak to the charges in court later this month.

A Ridgetown man faces several charges after an altercation at a residence in Ridgetown last night. Police say a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation. A woman’s car was also kicked, causing 700 dollars damage. The 32-year old faces charges of forcible confinement, assault, mischief and uttering threats.
