Police are investigating after a man was found at a Chatham shopping plaza with serious injuries.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to Thames Lea Plaza on Grand Avenue West shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
A man with “obvious injuries” was rushed to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance before being airlifted to Windsor Regional Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
A portion of Thames Lea Plaza was closed for several hours while officers conducted an investigation. It has since been re-opened.
Police officials said there is no threat to public safety.
