Police officers have taped off a section of the Lacroix Street bridge in Chatham as part of an ongoing investigation.
While they aren’t releasing any details at this time, police have told CKXS News that officers have been at the scene since around 8 a.m.
As of 12 p.m., two police cruisers were stationed on top of the bridge and police tape had been put up to cordon off a section of the bridge near the Thames River.
The road remains open in both directions, with only one lane currently closed.
CKXS will provide more information as it becomes available.
