A suspended Chatham-Kent police officer made his way onto the Sunshine List locally.
Sergeant Robert Mugridge has been suspended with pay for nearly two years and is facing pending fraud charges. Suspended in May of 2014, Mugridge still hit the payroll jackpot, bringing home $108,000 in the last year.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service have no influence on the paygrade of the suspended officer. An officer can not be cut off from his paycheck until they are actually convicted of the crime he or she has been charged with.
