The investigation continues into a chain-reaction crash in Chatham this morning.
Shortly before 6:30, police say a woman crossing the street at the corner of Richmond and Lacroix was hit by a car.
The 53-year-old suffered minor injuries and police say no charges were laid.
A second police officer arrived in his cruiser to help out at the scene.
Shortly after, a car heading westbound on Richmond ran into a school bus that was turning north onto Lacroix and then collided with the parked police cruiser, while the officer was in the vehicle.
Authorities say there were no kids on the bus at the time, and the officer sitting in the cruiser wasn’t hurt.
The driver of the car, a 43-year-old woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
