Police in Lambton County are investigating a homicide after the body of a man was found in a rural parking lot near Petrolia.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the man’s body was located in a parking lot off of Marthaville Road and reported to police on Thursday at around 7 a.m.
The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Andrew Chute of Sarnia.
Investigators have determined the death to be a homicide and believe it was a “targeted incident.” Police said there is no threat to public safety.
