Police Investigating Hate-Motivated Graffiti

Police are investigating after hate-motivated graffiti was discovered in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a citizen was out for a walk in the area of 325 Grand Ave. E at around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, when the graffiti was located on a community garden shed.

Authorities said the graffiti was painted sometime over the weekend.
