Police Investigating Hit-And-Run In Chatham

Police are looking for witnesses after a vehicle struck a cyclist in Chatham and fled the scene.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a man was riding a bicycle west on Richmond Street between Lacroix Street and McDougal Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle sometime between 3 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. on Saturday.

The man suffered unspecified injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The vehicle left the scene before officers arrived.
