Police Looking for A Witness to a Collision in Merlin

Chatham-Kent Police continue to investigate after a car struck a house in Merlin late last week.

Around 1 o’clock Friday morning, authorities say a driver lost control of their vehicle, hit a parked car and a house on Aberdeen Street.

A 42-year-old man was found at a nearby house and charged with driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

Police are now looking to speak with a witness who may have talked to the driver after the crash. The person may have been driving a dark coloured pick-up truck.

Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Ken Koke at 519-436-6600 extension #87178 or [email protected].
