Police in Lakeshore are trying to identify a cyclist seriously hurt in a collision earlier this week.

The OPP say two cyclists collided on a bike path on Ross Beach Road around 11:15 Tuesday morning.

One cyclist suffered only minor injuries, but the other was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and authorities haven’t been able to figure out who he is.

The victim is said to be a white man, 65-75 years old and between 5’6” and 5’8” inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds. He has short, grey hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo on his right forearm.

The man was riding a dark grey Giant Defy bike at the time, wearing a grey Giro helmet, blue and white Garneau cycling jersey and black Sugio cycling shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call the OPP Provincial Communication Centre at 1-888-310-1122.
