Chatham-Kent Police say a 33 year old Chatham man was arrested Wednesday following an early morning visit to an ex girlfriends home.
When she refused to let him in they tell us he broke a window and let himself in.
After searching the home and damaging a cell phone he helped her board up the window before fleeing on foot.
A short while later police picked him up and charged him with break and enter and mischief under 5000.
He was given an August court date
