Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in connection with a break and enter in Chatham.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said someone broke into a business on Grand Avenue West at around 6:30 a.m. on September 9.

While nothing was stolen during the break-in, police said a front door window was broken and damage was caused to a rear metal door when it was forced open. The cost of the damages is estimated at around $1,000.

Authorities have provided a photo of the suspect from surveillance footage, which can be viewed above.
