Shocking violence this morning in nearby Windsor.
Police were involved in the fatal shooting of a 33-year-old man at a McDonalds at the intersection of Wyandotte and Goyeau.
It happened just around 8am.
According to reports the man was armed with some knives and was apparently set on attacking the officers.
Police originally tazed the man to no effect, and that’s when the situation escalated to a shooting.
The SIU is investigating.
