A Blenheim man has been arrested following a break-and-enter at a Chatham home.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a break-and-enter in progress at a residence on Colborne Street shortly after 12 p.m. on Friday.
When police arrived, a man was discovered inside the home. He attempted to flee from the officers but was caught and arrested a short distance away.
As a result, a 39-year-old Blenheim man is now charged with break-and-enter. He was taken to police headquarters and held in custody for a bail hearing.
