
A local man is facing charges following a break-and-enter in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the break-in at a commercial building on King Street shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday.
Authorities said a man forced his way into a storage container and stole several items.
Using surveillance video from the area, officers were able to identify a suspect who was located and arrested later that day.
A 46-year-old Chatham-Kent man is now charged with break and enter to commit theft, theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property under $5,000. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
