Poor Air In Chatham-Kent

sun-in-clouds-300x143A Special Air Quality Statement is being issued for Chatham-Kent, Windsor and Essex by Environment Canada and the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change.

Hot and sunny conditions are expected to increase ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon.

Increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath can all be attributed to poor air quality and children, seniors and those with cardiovascular or lung disease, are at increased risk.
