Possible Measles Exposures In Chatham

The measles virus continues to make its way around the municipality.

Chatham-Kent Public Health is reporting two possible measles exposure points at Shoppers Drug Mart at 416 St Clair St. in Chatham. Those who attended the store on March 18 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. or on March 19 between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. may have been exposed to the virus.

Anyone who attended the Food Basics at 448 St Clair St. on March 25 between 3:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. may also have been exposed.

Anyone who was present during one or more of these timeframes and is not up-to-date with their vaccinations is urged to call CK Public Health at 519-352-7270 ext. 5902.

If you are experiencing symptoms of measles and need to visit a healthcare provider, emergency department, or walk-in clinic, be sure to call ahead before attending.
