Postma Hitting the Road to Raise Cancer Awareness

A local company is showing its commitment to fighting breast cancer.

Staff at Postma Heating, Cooling, Electrical, and Plumbing will be driving a pink service van around town, symbolizing a long-term commitment to cancer awareness.

Officials say for every social media post tagging the van, the company will donate $10 to cancer research and recovery, with a goal of raising $10,000. Postma is kicking off the campaign with an initial $1000 donation.

The van will be hitting the streets of Chatham-Kent, Windsor, Sarnia, and St Thomas through Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October and beyond, driving awareness and donations for cancer-related causes in the community.

“We believe in supporting those affected by cancer not just for a month, but for every day of the year and for years to come,” Postma General Manager Nick Gonzalez said in a news release.
