Monday marks the start of Poverty Awareness Week.
Kate Do Forno with the Prosperity Roundtable says a flag raising at the Civic Centre in Chatham marks the start of a busy week.
“On Tuesday October 18th in the evening at 7PM, we’re going to be releasing the living wage number for Chatham-Kent. we’re going to have a Living Wage Community conversation and that event will be happening in the Pine Room at Smitty’s Restaurant at 307 Grand Ave West” – Kate do Forno
DoForno will also be speaking to Chatham-Kent council on Monday night.
