Students at St Clair College’s powerline training centre will be showing off their skills this week.

The Powerline Rodeo kicks off at 9 o’clock Thursday morning with various competitions, including a climbing relay, pole top rescues, don’t break the egg, and more.

The event will also include a barbecue and awards.

The National Powerline Training Centre covers ten acres of property on Bear Line Road, directly across from the Chatham Campus, and is the largest post-secondary trainer for the Powerline Maintainer Trade in the province.
