An outbreak of COVID-19 at a Chatham Church has the CK Health unit on alert.

There have been several confirmed cases and evidence of transmission linked to in-person activities at the Praise Fellowship Church on Park Avenue East.

Those activities could include Sunday services, soup kitchen, prayer group, youth group, and devotional groups, but not those who voted or worked at the Elections Canada advance polling station at the same site.

Dr. David Colby, the municipality’s medical officer says anyone who has attended the church since August 29th should be tested immediately.
