The newly minted Chatham-Kent council will have to deal with the 2019 budget soon enough.

Councillors will have their first look see at the hefty document on January 16th in council chambers.

From there, three nights are set aside for public consultation: Tuesday, January 22nd from 4:30-6pm in Dresden and Tilbury, January 23rd in Wallaceburg and Blenheim, and the 24th in Chatham.

After that, budget deliberations begin on Jan 30th.

In the meantime, residents can still fill out an online questionnaire on the budget. Submissions are being accepted until December 14th.
