Parents, teachers, and students are all anxiously awaiting word on what classes will look like when school resumes in September.
The Lambton Kent District School Board is expected to release its final plans, following guidelines set out by the province, at some point this week.
Meantime, the St Clair Catholic District School Board has extended the deadline for parents to declare their intentions for their kids until August 14th.
Board officials say the Ministry of Education hasn’t provided all of the necessary information for planning, and some emails sent to parents over the last week or so have bounced back – the board’s IT department is working on that issue.
And CLASS, the agency in charge of student transportation, will begin accepting courtesy seat applications just after 9am. Families will have to submit an online application through their parent portal account as per the normal annual process.
