Preseason Ice Now Open At Three CK Arenas

Those eager to get back on the ice ahead of the fall now have three local arenas to choose from.

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent has opened Blenheim Memorial Arena, Chatham’s Thames Campus Arena, and Dresden’s Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre for preseason ice bookings.

While preseason is an important time for minor hockey associations and junior clubs to prepare for the upcoming season, the municipality said it also provides an opportunity for local residents to book the ice for recreational purposes.

Adult and Membership Skating, Tiny Tot Skating, and Stick & Puck Skills sessions are also available to the public at Thames Campus Arena.

All 10 municipal arenas will be open for the 2024/2025 regular season by the third week of September, with programming such as public skates beginning October 1.
