A special fundraiser will be rolling into Bothwell next week to help fight breast cancer.
Pretty in Pink at the Rink, hosted by the Bothwell Area Recreation Advisory Committee, skates into town August 14, raising money for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance mammography department to support local breast cancer screening.
The roller skating event includes a family skate for all ages from 6:30 until 8:30 at the Bothwell Area Sports Centre, followed by an adult skate for those 13 and older until 10:30.
Participants are welcome to wear inline or quad roller skates, with limited rentals available for $5 a pair.
Admission for those 13 and over is $5. Donations are also being collected with Tax receipts are available for contributions of $20 or more.
