Today marks the beginning of Pride Week in the municipality with the 20th annual celebration getting underway.
The Chatham-Kent Gay Pride Association has a full week of activities planned, although many will be virtual because of COVID-19.
There will not be a parade again this year for that reason. But there will be virtual drag shows, and a bonfire.
Things kick off this morning in Dresden with a 10 o’clock flag raising ceremony, with another set for noon at the civic centre in Chatham.
