The local CK Gay Pride Association will celebrate Pride Week in Chatham-Kent this coming week.
Events will run under COVID-19 protocols beginning Monday with a Pride Flag raising at the Civic Centre at 12 noon.
A Pride Week bonfire will be held on Friday, August 14th starting at 8:30. The bonfire will be held at 21118 Base Road in Blenheim. Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair, their own food and beverages and to practice physical distancing.
A virtual CK Pride church service will commence Sunday, August 16th at 10:30AM. You can join the service hosted by St. Andrew’s United Church in Chatham on the CK Pride Facebook page or directly at: https://www.facebook.com/standrewschatham/live
An online #ShareYourPrideCK campaign hopes to raise awareness and acceptance.
