Charges have been laid following a private sale gone wrong.
Chatham-Kent Police were called last night after a man was assaulted. Authorities say the victim met up with the two suspects to sell them a piece of furniture. When the men refused to pay, police allege the would-be seller was attacked.
The victim was treated for his injuries and officers tracked down the two accused.
A 16-year-old and 44-year-old, both from Wallaceburg, are now facing charges of assault.
The pair were taken to police headquarters and released with a future court date.
