A Romney Township resident will have to answer a judge in court after a traffic complaint in Blenheim over the long weekend.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to the area of John Street West shortly after 2 o’clock Saturday morning and say a driver was found with a weapon banned under the Criminal Code of Canada.
Although authorities have not released what type of implement the man had, the 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.
He was released on an appearance notice and will plead his case in court in October.
