Four more Chatham-Kent businesses are getting on the Living Wage bandwagon.
The Prosperity Roundtable has calculated the living wage for Chatham-Kent at $15.86 an hour, which is the amount the average working parent needs to make to cover basic expenses such as food, clothing, shelter and transportation, plus a little extra to allow for residents to take part in community life.
The Social Inclusion Action Team says Clarke Construction, The Instant Print Shoppe, Jayden Construction and Sinteris have joined the movement to ensure their employees can be active members of the community.
