A local woman is facing charges following a property dispute in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a disturbance at an address on McNaughton Avenue West at around 7 p.m. on Monday, after a woman forced her way into a dwelling.
When confronted by the occupants, the woman threatened to return with a baseball bat.
As a result, a 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is now charged with uttering threats and unlawfully entering a dwelling. She will answer the charges in court next month.
