The province is announcing new money for upgrades to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The CKHA is in line for almost 2.2 million dollars through the Health Infrastructure Renewal Fund for this year and next.
The money is earmarked for air quality improvements, work to the fire suppression system and a new urology service at the Wallaceburg and Chatham sites.
Leamington’s Erie Shores Healthcare system is receiving $276,000 for a partial roof replacement and new heat exchange system.
