The Ontario government is looking for candidates whose efforts have driven the agriculture and food industry forward.
The province is now accepting nominations for the 2024 Excellence in Agriculture Awards, which recognizes farmers, processors, industry organizations, people and businesses who demonstrate excellence in their field.
This year’s awards will recognize individuals in 12 categories, including Youth Excellence, Food Processing Excellence, Research and Innovation Excellence, Northern Business Excellence, Workforce Excellence, Women’s Excellence, Education Excellence, Supply Chain Excellence, Indigenous, Metis or Inuit-Owned Business or Community Excellence, Promotional Excellence, Farm Family Excellence, and Urban Agriculture Excellence.
Anyone can nominate themselves, another person or business. Nominations will remain open until July 22. For more information, click here.
