It should be standing room only tonight in Wallaceburg when the 8 member committee looking into options for the towns drinking water supply delivers it’s list of recommendations. The initial plan called for the PUC to simply tap into the Lake Erie supply that Chatham residents use. But many Wallaceburg residents didn’t like that idea and there was strong push back.
In the end there were several options on the table and tonight we will learn which plan they will go forward with. Everyone is invited out to the meeting that gets underway at 6:30 at the UAW hall on Elm Street. Townspeople are just hoping at this point after a year long battle, it doesn’t turn out to be a nightmare on Elm Street.
