An arrest has been made after an irate patron pulled the fire alarm at a Wallaceburg business.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance at the business on Dufferin Avenue at around 10 p.m. on Thursday after staff asked a woman to leave the premises.
During the confrontation, the woman became upset and activated a fire alarm inside the business before leaving.
Authorities located and arrested a suspect nearby who was showing signs of impairment. The 43-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is now charged with one count of mischief. She will answer the charge in court later this month.
