As the United Way of Chatham-Kent looks for new ways to raise money for local organizations, it’s launching some new initiatives.
Youth co-ordinator Michelle Robbins says they’re putting a new twist on an old theme.
“We are introducing this really cool, person v. tractor. It’s going to be at St. Clair College. We are looking for team of 10, minimum 4 women on a team and each team needs to raise $500,” says Robbins. “That will be your entry fee and we will have you pull tractors 100m. There’s going to be time trials and brackets, it’s going to be a super fun day.”
The tractor pull will take place on October 14th.
