A local woman has been charged following an argument that turned violent in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a disturbance on Paxton Drive in Chatham at around 4 p.m. on Monday.
According to police, a woman had allegedly punched another individual during an argument.
Following an investigation, a 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with one count of assault. She was later released with conditions and a future court date.
