Charges have been laid against a Wallaceburg man, accused of stealing from a local flower shop.
Chatham-Kent Police say the accused went into Westbrook’s Flower Shoppe on James Street last week and stole a pair of purses valued at $200.
The suspect was later identified and a 40-year-old man was arrested last night.
He’s been charged with theft and possession of stolen property, and was released with a court date in November.
