A pair of local men are being honoured by Chatham-Kent Police.
Wayne and Evan Lambrecht have been given police citations for their roles following a collision earlier this year.
On the afternoon of January 21st, a car crashed on Main Line near Bothwell, sparking a fire.
The father and son were first on the scene and extinguished the fire and helped the driver, who was still trapped inside the vehicle.
The victim was taken to hospital in London with life-threatening injuries, but is now back at home as his recovery continues.
Chatham-Kent Police say the Lambrechts are heroes, and exemplified courage, compassion, and teamwork.
